Senior Software Engineering Manager, Infrastructure, Google Cloud Data Management

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead their Infrastructure team within Cloud Data Management. This role combines technical leadership with people management, requiring expertise in large-scale distributed systems and infrastructure development. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing multiple teams and locations, managing substantial product budgets, and deploying large-scale projects internationally. The role requires strong technical expertise in software development, particularly in languages like Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript, combined with proven leadership experience in managing and developing engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in both technical leadership and people management roles, with a strong background in building large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems. They should be comfortable working in a complex, matrixed organization and be able to align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.

This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $237,000-$337,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
