Responsibilities For Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer, Platforms

  • Lead a system and hardware design on data center hardware products
  • Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab
  • Gather requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design and product validation
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to productize designs and field support
  • Drive product from concept to production

Requirements For Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer, Platforms

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in system design leadership, system hardware leadership roles, or 7 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • 5 years of experience in technical leadership
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hardware platforms, including Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and Tensor Processing Units (TPUs)
  • 5 years of experience with enterprise class hardware systems design (preferred)
  • Experience with data center engineering, server, storage and networking products (preferred)
  • Experience in solving system issues, technical innovation and drive technical roadmap (preferred)
  • Ability to collect and organize details to reproduce results and explain findings (preferred)
