Senior Staff Security Architect, Platform Security

Google is seeking a Senior Staff Security Architect to join their Devices & Services team, focusing on Platform Security for Pixel phones. This role combines Google's expertise in AI, Software, and Hardware to create secure and privacy-focused mobile experiences. As a Security Architect, you'll be responsible for protecting Pixel users and their data by building the most secure and privacy-focused mobile experience. You'll work on implementing transparent controls and staying ahead of evolving threats through research and innovation. The role requires extensive experience in software development, security systems, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software development experience, strong knowledge of data structures/algorithms, and significant experience with security operating systems and mobile system security. You'll work in a complex, matrixed organization, leading cross-functional teams and setting technical direction for security initiatives.

This position offers competitive compensation ($237,000-$337,000 base salary) plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
