Senior Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack, Google Cloud Business Platforms

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Full Stack team for Google Cloud Business Platforms. This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in software development, full stack engineering, and technical leadership.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. You'll work on critical projects for Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business evolves. The ideal candidate is versatile, displays strong leadership qualities, and is enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full stack.

Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers, facilitating alignment across teams, managing project priorities and deliverables, and designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software solutions.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and data structures/algorithms, 7 years of full stack development experience, and 5 years of experience with design, architecture, and launching software products. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a technical field, experience in technical leadership roles, and experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
