Google's Global Network Technology (GNT) team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on networking technology and infrastructure. As part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you'll contribute to the architecture that powers Google's extensive product portfolio. The role offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities For Senior Technical Program Manager, Global Network Technology
- Deliver cross-functional projects/programs with predictability and ensure they provide value to our customers
- Manage software programs that include large software components used for managing the data, control and management plane of Google's global network
- Develop road-maps, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development of software systems and infrastructure
- Identify and Initiate NPIs in response to opportunities
- Use technical acumen to drive project delivery, technology reviews, guide technical proposals and build consensus among cross-functional teams
- Design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, and help program teams scale
- Improve Google's ability to deliver network capacity on-time, with high availability while achieving maximum efficiency
Requirements For Senior Technical Program Manager, Global Network Technology
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in program management
- 5 years of experience managing software programs
- Experience in software architecture, design and development of Scalable and Reliable systems
- Knowledge of Networking, including in Network Management and Control planes, Software Defined Networking
- Experience in executive-level communication
