Senior Web Solutions Engineer

Google is seeking a Senior Web Solutions Engineer to join the YouTube/Video Global Solutions team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and scaling systems that support the entire YouTube organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in full-stack development, data visualization, and user-centric design.

As a Senior Web Solutions Engineer, you will lead efforts to build and maintain the technical infrastructure that enables YouTube to understand and respond to user needs, driving product and service improvements. Your focus will be on creating scalable software platforms, including back-end APIs, front-end interfaces, and data pipelines that can handle large volumes of data and user interactions.

Key responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable solutions, ensuring data accessibility for reporting and visualization, authoring technical documentation, and building interactive dashboards. You'll also explore and implement AI/ML technologies for automating feedback classification and sentiment analysis.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in system design or programming, with proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL. Experience with large-scale data processing tools like BigQuery or Apache Spark is preferred, as is familiarity with collaborative code review systems and issue-tracking tools like Buganizer.
