Silicon Validation Engineer, TPU

Google is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team, specifically focusing on TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) technology. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining data centers and building next-generation Google platforms.

As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing detailed silicon test plans, working closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, design, software, and firmware. You'll develop software tests for system validation and verification, characterize HBM operations in test chips and production silicon, and solve complex technical challenges.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering or computer science, with experience in Python programming and computer architecture. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree with an emphasis on computer architecture and experience with hardware description languages like SystemVerilog.

This position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $108,000-$158,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Located in Sunnyvale, CA, you'll be working at the heart of Silicon Valley with some of the industry's brightest minds in AI hardware development.
