Software Developer III, Infrastructure, Core

Google's Core team is seeking a Software Developer III to help build the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. As a core team member, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure that power Google's services. You'll work on large-scale systems, handling information at massive scale that extends beyond web search.

The role involves managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. You'll collaborate with teams across Google to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems. The Core team has a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The ideal candidate should be versatile and display leadership qualities, bringing fresh ideas from various areas including distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, and security. You'll participate in design reviews, code reviews, and contribute to documentation while ensuring best practices are followed.

This position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $136,000-$200,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
