Description For Software Engineer, Black Community Inclusion

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team focusing on Black Community Inclusion initiatives. This role is part of Google's commitment to diversity and inclusion, specifically aimed at generating interest from the Black+ community. The position offers an opportunity to work on next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. As a software engineer at Google, you'll be involved in developing innovative solutions across various domains including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and UI design.

The role requires a versatile engineer who can demonstrate leadership qualities and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges across the full-stack. You'll be working on critical projects with the flexibility to switch teams and projects as both you and the company evolve. The position is based in either Belo Horizonte or São Paulo, Brazil, offering the opportunity to work in one of Google's dynamic office locations.

This is a mid-level position requiring 5 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in launching and maintaining software products, along with the ability to provide technical leadership. The role particularly welcomes candidates who self-identify as Black (including Preto(a) or Pardo(a) identifications) according to IBGE classifications.
