Description For Software Engineer, Chrome Identity

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Chrome Identity team, focusing on developing and maintaining Chrome's signin and profile features. Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Chrome Identity

  • Dive deep into Chrome's code base, primarily using C++ (and some JavaScript)
  • Design, implement, and refine new features for Chrome Signin and Profiles on Desktop
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Contribute to the team's internal code infrastructure
  • Uphold a high standard for code quality, participating in code reviews and ensuring optimal performance

Requirements For Software Engineer, Chrome Identity

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
  • English proficiency
