Description For Software Engineer Early Career, Full Stack

Google's Core team is seeking a Software Engineer Early Career, Full Stack to join their ranks in Mexico City. This role is crucial in developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. As part of the Core team, you'll work on building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, focusing on underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure.

You'll be involved in full-stack development, working with both back-end (Java, Python, GO, C++) and front-end (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) technologies. Your responsibilities will include writing code, participating in design reviews, reviewing others' code, contributing to documentation, and troubleshooting complex issues.

This position offers an opportunity to work on projects critical to Google's needs, with the potential to switch teams and projects as you grow. Google is looking for versatile engineers who can display leadership qualities and are enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full stack.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least one year of experience in software development, data structures, algorithms, and full-stack development. Responsibilities For Software Engineer Early Career, Full Stack

  • Write product or system development code
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
