Google's NetSoft team in Sydney is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to join their dynamic team focused on internal software development for network planning and design. This role is crucial in helping Google forecast, plan, design, and deploy its global production network. As part of Google Cloud, which serves customers in more than 200 countries, you'll work on cutting-edge technology that helps manage Google's ever-growing network infrastructure.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems and network infrastructure, making a direct impact on how Google's network evolves. Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Early Career, NetSoft

  • Develop, review, and manage operations for our network planning, design, and delivery infrastructure and provide support to network planners
  • Work with our peer teams in understanding the workflows and issues, train and land features
  • Propose software component designs
  • Participate in design, implementation and support of the data systems that manage Google's network physical topology data
