Google is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Android Automotive, Software-Defined Vehicle team in Munich, Germany. This role is part of the Platforms and Ecosystems product area, which focuses on developing computing software platforms across various environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, data structures, and algorithms, with a preference for experience in embedded operating systems and proficiency in Rust or C++.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust software for vehicle systems. You'll implement and optimize software to ensure performance and reliability, as well as maintain, debug, and test software for smooth operation and exceptional user experiences. Managing, engineering, and designing APIs will also be a key part of your role.

Google's software engineers work on next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
