As a Software Engineer II for the Android Google Search App Assemblies, you will be responsible for developing and contributing to the Android app architecture and Google's mobile tech stack. You'll be involved in the design, development, testing, documentation, and launching of app-wide changes. Additionally, you'll participate in cross-team efforts to improve infrastructure both within and outside the codebase, and support other developers contributing to the Android Google Search App (AGSA).
This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 1 year of experience in software development using languages like Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript. You should also have 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience in developing accessible technologies is preferred.
