Description For Software Engineer II, EasySaaS Reliability and Scalability

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their EasySaaS Reliability and Scalability team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining Google's cloud infrastructure that serves customers across 200+ countries. You'll be working on critical projects that enable users to build reliable and scalable applications through sophisticated sharding and replication systems.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, working with cutting-edge tools and platforms including internal systems like Borg and external cloud environments such as GCP and GDC. The role requires expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering, with opportunities to work across the full technology stack.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in platform engineering and cloud-based applications, with a strong foundation in software development using languages like Go, Java, or C++. Understanding of SRE practices, including SLO/SLI and reliability aspects of large-scale services, is highly valued.
