Google's Core team is seeking a Software Engineer III to help build the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. This role involves developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users' interactions and experiences. The Core team is responsible for underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. They work across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems.

As a Software Engineer III, you'll be working on critical projects with opportunities to switch teams as the business evolves. Responsibilities For Software Engineer III, Core

  • Write product or system development code
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

Requirements For Software Engineer III, Core
