Software Engineer Manager, Search UI and AI Infrastructure

Google's Search Infrastructure team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Search UI and AI Infrastructure initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with people management, focusing on creating and maintaining a flexible, intuitive, scalable, and reliable platform for Search developers. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Search feature developers, maintaining and evolving web infrastructure, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of Search systems. You'll need expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks, and Python, with a particular focus on ML and deep learning. Experience with browser rendering lifecycles, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization is highly valued.
