Software Engineer, People with Disabilities

Google is seeking software engineers to develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The ideal candidate will work on critical projects with opportunities to switch teams as the business evolves. Google needs versatile engineers who can display leadership qualities and tackle new problems across the full-stack. The role involves working on products that handle information at massive scale, extending beyond web search to areas such as information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
