Software Engineer, Tablet and Home Device

Google is seeking a Software Engineer for their Tablet and Home Device team. This role focuses on developing software features for Speaker products, emphasizing premium experiences in Media, Voice, and Smart Home. The ideal candidate will work with Technical Leads to enable premium experiences on next-generation Speakers.

Key responsibilities include participating in full development cycles, improving media playback experiences, leveraging on-device computing and LLM technology, innovating smart home experiences, and creating new features for Google's first-party products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years of software development experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with device or middleware software development, Video/Media Streaming, Android Media Framework, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent problem-solving skills.
