Description For Software Engineering Manager, AI Studio

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is leading the charge to bring Generative AI experiences to our customers, leveraging data and insights to help solve business challenges. As a Software Engineering Manager for the AI Studio, you will work with cross-functional teams building features for GCP, bringing AI-first experiences across the platform.

Your role involves not only technical expertise but also managing a team of Engineers. You'll be responsible for developing the Google Generative AI SDK, enabling third-party developers to leverage Gemini models. You'll need to understand developers of Large Language Model-based applications and build production-scale features for a new generative AI technical stack.

This position requires a blend of technical prowess and leadership skills. You'll be expected to have at least 8 years of software development experience and 5 years in a technical leadership role. Knowledge of languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go is crucial.

As part of Google Cloud, you'll be at the forefront of enterprise-grade solutions leveraging cutting-edge technology. You'll collaborate with partner product areas to advance LLM state-of-the-art techniques and create real-world product impact.
