Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead their Titan Platform Serving team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is part of Google's ambitious Generative AI initiative in Cloud, specifically within the Titan Platform organization. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects like Gemini Cloud Assist and Gemini Code Assist.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of 8+ engineers, combining technical expertise with people management skills. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure behind Google Cloud's latest offerings, working at the forefront of AI and cloud technology. The role requires strong leadership abilities to guide multiple teams across different locations and oversee large-scale international projects.

Responsibilities For Software Engineering Manager, Titan Platform Serving

  • Lead a team of more than 8 strong engineers at all levels building the infrastructure behind Cloud's latest offering
  • Work with product teams to translate their platform, tooling and infrastructure needs into project roadmaps
  • Manage project schedules, identify risks and clearly communicate them to stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers and other teams to create, deliver and evolve high-quality products
  • Grow, coach and mentor engineers and engineering managers to build a healthy team culture

  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • 2 years of experience in people management/team leadership role

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization (preferred)
