- Set and communicate team priorities that support the organization's goals
- Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role
- Develop the mid-term technical goal and roadmap within the scope of the team
- Lead a team of Software and Test Engineers focused on improving developer velocity, scalability and testability for Wearables
- Provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle from design to delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructure
Requirements For Software Engineering Manager, Wear Engineering Productivity
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- 2 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership role
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization (preferred)
- Experience in driving engineering productivity objectives (preferred)
- Experience working on improving quality and performance of android or mobile devices (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration (preferred)
