  • Set and communicate team priorities that support the organization's goals
  • Set clear expectations with individuals and provide feedback and coaching
  • Develop the mid-term technical goal and roadmap within the scope of the team
  • Lead a team of Software and Test Engineers focused on improving developer velocity, scalability and testability for Wearables
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle
  • Define team strategy and roadmap for adoption of developer tools and test infrastructure

Requirements For Software Engineering Manager, Wear Engineering Productivity

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • 2 years of experience in people management/team leadership role
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization (preferred)
  • Experience in driving engineering productivity objectives
  • Experience working on improving quality and performance of android or mobile devices
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
