Staff Application Engineer, Spaces Engineering

Google's Spaces Engineering team is seeking a Staff Application Engineer to lead the development, integration, and maintenance of complex enterprise systems within the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) domain. This is a senior technical leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of REWS applications.

As part of Corp Eng, Google's IT organization, you'll be working on building world-leading business solutions that scale Google's internal operations. The role requires extensive experience in Java or Python programming, with a focus on system design, API development, and enterprise architecture. You'll be responsible for developing internal solutions, implementing integration strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant controls and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience and a strong background in software system design and enterprise architecture. You'll be working with stakeholders across REWS and other functions to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
