Responsibilities For Staff Hardware Systems Design Engineer

  • Gather system requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design, and product validation
  • Lead the bring up, validation, NPI, deployment, and sustaining of hardware solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Manufacturing, and external vendors
  • Drive system development from concept through production
  • Lead debug and root cause analysis of deployed systems

Requirements For Staff Hardware Systems Design Engineer

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 years of experience working in hardware systems design, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership
  • Experience in PCIe Gen3+, DDR4+, and signal integrity (preferred)
  • PhD in related field (preferred)
  • 10 years of experience with hardware, design and bring-up (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership or management (preferred)
