Description For Staff Software Engineer, Content Safety Platform

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Content Safety Platform within the Core team. This role is crucial in building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, focusing on underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. The position requires a seasoned professional with 8+ years of software development experience who will provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and influence a distributed team of engineers.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring the ability to manage project priorities while designing and developing large-scale software solutions. As part of the Core team, you'll have a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company and break down technical barriers to strengthen existing systems.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in software development, data structures/algorithms, and a proven track record in testing and launching software products.
