Staff Software Engineer, Generative AI, Google Cloud AI

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI for their Google Cloud AI team. This role involves providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers, and designing large-scale software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, data structures/algorithms, and Generative AI (Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

The role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and 5 years of experience testing and launching software products. Additionally, 3 years of experience with software design and architecture is necessary. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field and experience in technical leadership roles.
