Responsibilities For Staff Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Dataform
- Work across a wide range of technologies and to deliver new Application programming interface (APIs), services, infrastructure, features and fixes to the Dataform platform and to our open-source projects
- Work with leaders across multiple teams to define product and technical requirements that can support new features, functionality and improvements across BigQuery and Dataform products
- Deliver improvements to processes, reliability, scalability, APIs and long term architecture that can support the teams mission
- Lead the execution of critical workstreams across Dataform and BigQuery. Launch new products, features, and components with product excellence and at high velocity
- Contribute to the development of the core product, working across a range of different technologies: Kotlin, Golang, C++, Typescript, Spanner, Borg, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Apps Framework, and Angular
Requirements For Staff Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Dataform
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
