Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Strategic Cloud Engineer specializing in Business Intelligence and Looker to join their team. Responsibilities For Strategic Cloud Engineer, Business Intelligence, Looker

  • Recommend technical solutions and best practices for customer requirements using Looker functionalities
  • Interact with internal technical stakeholders to translate customer requirements into recommendations
  • Help Google cloud customers with infrastructure assessment, design and architect infrastructure
  • Work with leading customers and enterprises to identify and offer value of Looker's product
  • Engage with c-suite executives, technical leads and partners to lead migrations to GCP

Requirements For Strategic Cloud Engineer, Business Intelligence, Looker

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in delivering Business Intelligence/Reporting projects with reports
  • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Experience with SQL and in Looker including writing and maintaining LookML model
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Python, R, etc
  • Knowledge of Looker concepts such as dimensions, measures, Explores, Joins, parameters, templated filters, and PDTs
  • Knowledge of Data modelling techniques
  • Understanding of liquid syntax, embeddings, live reports, extensions, and blocks
