Product and Business Strategy Leaders at Google bring together teams across functions to help products execute optimally. The team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Roles often include components of strategy, operations, and communications. The team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. They help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all other functions to build amazing products that delight users and get those products into their hands.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, experience with tools like SQL and R, and knowledge of business and engineering operations.

Responsibilities For Strategic Product Operations Analyst, Corp Engineering

  • Execute overall project strategy to translate leadership direction into plans, insights, and impact
  • Own project delivery, keeping multiple, complex plans/roadmaps moving at the same time and landing on schedule
  • Partner with the Corp Eng India Leads to prioritize and execute sophisticated quantitative analyses, support definition and measurement approach design for key performance metrics
  • Communicate goals, approach, outcomes to senior leadership and to the broader organization

Requirements For Strategic Product Operations Analyst, Corp Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company
  • Experience working with and analyzing data
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience executing strategic and operational initiatives
  • Knowledge of best practices in business operations, engineering operations, and of service operations
