Google is seeking a Strategy Manager to join their Google Play and Developer Regulatory Strategy team. Responsibilities For Strategy Manager, Google Play and Developer Regulatory Strategy

  • Lead one or more key regulatory strategy projects, and support discussions among senior level stakeholders
  • Develop informative metrics and undertake quantitative analyses to assess the impact of executive decisions
  • Illuminate the impact of proposed strategies on user experience, value drivers, financial performance, resource commitments
  • Work with policy and legal teams to assess the business impact of regulatory changes
  • Develop internal resources to help the business make informed decisions about regulatory requirements

Requirements For Strategy Manager, Google Play and Developer Regulatory Strategy

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects
  • Master's degree in mathematics, economics, finance, physics, or another quantitative field (preferred)
  • Experience working with or inside of regulators, and negotiating with or on behalf of regulators (preferred)
  • Experience in the mobile technology space related to operating systems, app stores, and application development (preferred)
  • Knowledge of global regulations relevant to Google Play (preferred)
