Google is seeking a Sustaining Technical Program Manager to join their Devices & Services team, focusing on electronic product manufacturing operations. This role serves as the cornerstone of operations communication with technical cross-functional teams during mass production. Responsibilities For Sustaining Technical Program Manager, Electronic Product Manufacturing
- Identify and ensure ongoing technical risks are identified and mitigated or resolved
- Manage the operations side for line layout, line bring up, fixture buy off, and line qualifications for ramp
- Manage the product yield, quality performance at the Contract Manufacturers (CM) site, and mass production yield and performance updates
- Guide CMs to strengthen their manufacturing process control. Set KPIs and goals for CMs for continuous improvements
- Provide design review to the Engineering team, and early involvement from the New Product Introduction stage through mass production
Requirements For Sustaining Technical Program Manager, Electronic Product Manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program management
- Experience as a technical program manager in the manufacturing industry
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
- MBA or Master's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in leadership in Sustaining Technical Program Management (preferred)
- Experience working and managing international Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) partners (preferred)
- Experience managing cross-functional team to achieve new product objectives (preferred)
