Systems Development Engineer, Customer Training

Google is seeking a Systems Development Engineer focused on Customer Training for their Google Distributed Cloud Hosted Solutions (GDCH) team. This role combines technical expertise in systems engineering with the ability to create and deliver high-quality training programs. The position is based in Munich, Germany, and requires a blend of technical knowledge in infrastructure, systems automation, and excellent teaching abilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in systems automation and implementation, along with 2 years of training experience. They should be well-versed in infrastructure components including Linux, Kubernetes, storage, and networking concepts. The role involves designing and developing training materials for various formats, contributing to train-the-trainer programs, and working directly with customers and internal teams.

This position offers the opportunity to work with Google's cutting-edge cloud technology while helping customers understand and implement these solutions effectively. The role involves some international travel (up to 25%) and participation in 24x7 on-call rotation for support escalations. The successful candidate will need to obtain a Level 2 security clearance (SÜ2) under the German Classification Act.
