Responsibilities For Systems Development Engineer, Technical Documentation

  • Perform complex day to day troubleshooting and resolution of Infrastructure issues
  • Interact with customers and internal development organizations
  • Work closely with technical writers, Google partners to translate technical details into clear documentation
  • Participate in Customer, Partner, and Internal team Deployments and trainings (up to 25% travel)
  • Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation to support escalations

Requirements For Systems Development Engineer, Technical Documentation

Linux
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience working in production distributed environments with TCP/IP and networking concepts
  • Experience in one of the areas of infrastructure (Linux, Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 2 security clearance (SÜ2) under the German Classification Act (SÜG)
