Tech Lead, Software Engineering, Black Community Inclusion

Google is seeking a Tech Lead for their Software Engineering team as part of their initiative to increase Black community representation in their workforce. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on software development, requiring 8 years of software development experience and proven expertise in data structures and algorithms.

The position is based in either São Paulo or Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and is specifically designed to promote diversity and inclusion, targeting candidates who self-identify as Black (including Preto(a) or Pardo(a) identifications). The role requires fluency in both English and Portuguese, reflecting Google's global nature while maintaining local relevance.

As a Tech Lead, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems, working on cutting-edge technologies that impact billions of users. The role encompasses various technical domains, including information retrieval, distributed computing, system design, networking, security, and artificial intelligence.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of technical leadership experience and 2 years of team management experience.
