Description For Technical Account Manager, Google Cloud Consulting (English, Korean)

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to play a crucial role in helping customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products. This position combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, requiring fluency in both English and Korean to serve APAC customers effectively. As a TAM, you'll lead organizations through their Google Cloud transformation journey, managing Cloud Consulting engagements and driving customer adoption of Google Cloud services. The role involves regular engagement with enterprise leadership and cross-functional teams across different geographical locations. You'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, managing timelines and milestones, developing strategic roadmaps, and ensuring customer success through close collaboration with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in cloud operations or IT consulting. This role offers the opportunity to work with Google Cloud's cutting-edge technology while helping organizations solve their most critical business problems across more than 200 countries and territories.

Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager, Google Cloud Consulting (English, Korean)

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand customer's business
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements

Requirements For Technical Account Manager, Google Cloud Consulting (English, Korean)

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills
