Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to play a crucial role in helping customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products. The role involves leading customers through their Google Cloud transformation journey, managing successful delivery of Cloud Consulting engagements, and driving product adoption. You'll work directly with enterprise leadership and cross-functional teams across different geographical locations, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who excels at both technical implementation and stakeholder management.

As a TAM, you'll be responsible for developing strategic roadmaps, leading quarterly business reviews, and providing technical guidance to ensure successful cloud adoption. Responsibilities For Technical Account Manager I, Google Cloud Consulting

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey
  • Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goal and business transformation strategies
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand customer's business
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements

Requirements For Technical Account Manager I, Google Cloud Consulting

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations
  • Experience in application or workload migration to public cloud providers
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills
