Description For Technical Curriculum Developer, Security, Cloud Learning Services

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles (e.g., Cloud Administrator, Cloud Solutions Architects, Site Reliability Engineers, DevOps Engineers and IT Managers). You will translate technical content into learning content and curricula. You will have a grasp of cloud computing technologies and learning and development tools and principles (e.g., instructional design). You will keep your technical skills honed, and aspire to be a technical leader in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Google Cloud technologies, understanding the services and developing training for our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject-matter experts and partners in the development process.
  • Design and develop creative learner-centered training content and curriculum in multiple modalities, including instructor led training, on-demand interactive e-learning, videos, labs, job aides, facilitator guides, and resource materials.
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across multiple global locations.
  • Be responsive to the fluid nature of innovation and analysis content in a structured manner.

  • Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience with cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), DevOps practices and automation tools
  • 4 years of experience in collaborating with technical subject matter experts to develop training content and curricula
  • 4 years of experience in designing and developing learning solutions in various formats
