Google is seeking a Technical Operations Manager for Third-Party Data Center Operational Audits to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role involves overseeing colocation operations of electrical, cooling, and IT infrastructure, working closely with Google's data center engineering team, Hardware operations, Network Infrastructure, and third-party vendors. The position requires up to 50% travel for conducting regional audits.

The Technical Infrastructure team is crucial in maintaining Google's architecture, developing and maintaining data centers, and building next-generation Google platforms. They take pride in being the engineers' engineers and ensure networks run optimally for the best user experience.

Requirements For Technical Operations Manager, Third-Party Data Center Operational Audits

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience working in an operational audit role
  • Experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure
  • Experience with initiating and executing initiatives in a global environment
  • Experience conducting compliance audits on operational requirements
  • Ability to perform operational assessment and risk analysis of third-party sites
  • Ability to forecast resource requirements in a driven way
