Responsibilities For Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Centers

  • Drive efforts to test, validate, improve, and certify new processes and procedures for critical complex equipment operation for data center domain of expertise
  • Lead efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally
  • Manage efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and ensure effective response to any excursions
  • Drive efforts to ensure sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally
  • Plan the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact

Requirements For Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Centers

Linux
  • Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 9 years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or controls in an industrial/commercial environment
  • 5 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Reliability Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance and engineering
  • Ability to forecast resource requirements in a data-driven way
