Responsibilities For Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Centers (English, Spanish)

  • Motivate efforts to test, validate, improve, and certify new processes and procedures for critical equipment operation in data center domain
  • Lead efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally
  • Drive efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk
  • Drive efforts to ensure sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally
  • Lead the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact

Requirements For Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Centers (English, Spanish)

  • Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, controls, water chemistry, generators, mechanical, or other similar technical domain
  • 3 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Reliability Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives (preferred)
  • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance and in engineering (preferred)
  • Ability to forecast resource requirements in a data-driven way (preferred)
