Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Android Ecosystem

  • Own standardizing simplicity of Android Operating System adoption and driving architectural change implementation across the ecosystem
  • Align engineering on a multi-year program strategy accounting for all critical project deliverables
  • Perform technical data analysis issues to recommend solutions and represent the team in cross-functional leadership forums
  • Represent technical teams in both internal and external discussions with platform teams, and hardware partners
  • Work with teams like Android Engineering, Android Release, other Google-wide Product Engineering teams, external third-party vendors, and Mobile OEM Partners

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Android Ecosystem

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management, motivating cross-functional projects across multiple organizations
  • Experience with software or hardware platforms
  • Experience developing consumer integration, Operating System development, or developer platform software
  • Experience building stakeholder management network
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic programs
  • Experience with operating system bring-up, system-on-chip bring-up, ARM, kernel development/management
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
