Description For Technical Program Manager, Anti-Abuse Solutions

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Anti-Abuse Solutions to join their Content Safety Platforms (CSP) team. This role focuses on developing solutions to meet Google's evolving user safety needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leadership, engineers, product managers, and user experience professionals to develop protections that safeguard users and enhance the overall user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working with engineering, product management, and client teams to build content safety infrastructure and solutions.
  2. Partnering with content safety teams and clients to build platforms and solutions that detect abusive content.
  3. Ensuring that platforms and solutions used by users can scale to handle large volumes of data and traffic.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience) and 5 years of experience with program or project management. The ideal candidate should have experience with software development and managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience managing programs from conception to closure
  • Experience designing and implementing process improvements in legal and regulatory environments
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with technical leadership to align priorities and schedules
  • Excellent communication skills
