Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This role involves managing a large portfolio of programs related to supply planning, execution, and asset management. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, ASCII

  • Manage a large portfolio of programs, spanning supply planning, execution, and asset management, working across numerous internal teams and external partners
  • Initiate new software development programs, identifying and delivering features that drive performance, scale, functionality, security, quality, and efficiency
  • Identify IT project management process improvements and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define/refine frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders, and other Technical Program Manager groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, and drive efficiencies

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, ASCII

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience in Technical Program Management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Management, Stakeholder Management, and Strategic Planning
  • 7 years of experience in delivering high-availability, large-scale distributed systems and reliable systems/cloud services (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience managing deployment of one or more 3p solutions like SAP, JDA, Kinaxis, etc. and managing deployments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (preferred)
