They will serve as the key liaison between Test Engineering teams and Project Management counterparts, overseeing factory test stations development from concept to mass production.

Key responsibilities include managing factory software deployment, standardizing test processes across production lines, driving operational efficiency, and collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams. The role requires strong technical knowledge in hardware testing and system validation, combined with excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Central Test Engineering

  • Serve as conduit between the Test Engineering team and PM counterparts
  • Be responsible for factory software deployment, coordination strategy, and test station qualification
  • Standardize and optimize the test process across the entire production line
  • Drive yield and operational issues for the test line
  • Ensure operational test readiness for all phases of the product development
  • Work with CM on test related SOP, test fixtures, cycle time/UPH, and line balance
  • Manage schedules and plan for all test engineering deliverables
  • Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams in developing test blueprint

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Central Test Engineering

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with building, performing failure analysis, and launching consumer electronics products
  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience with hardware testing, system bring up, and design validation (preferred)
  • Experience in working with CM (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed (preferred)
