Description For Technical Program Manager, Core

Google's Core team is at the forefront of building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll be responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. The role involves working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and facilitate cross-functional communication.

The position offers an opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company, as the Core team builds central solutions and breaks down technical barriers. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Core

  • Coordinate and deliver program communications in collaboration with program stakeholders
  • Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders
  • Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic programs
  • Author stakeholder map that specifies who is impacted by/who influences
  • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Core

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in program management
  • Ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
