Google Research is seeking an experienced Governance Technical Program Manager to lead their data governance strategy and compliance initiatives. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Data Governance and Regulatory Programs

  • Work across leaders to design a robust data management and compliance strategy
  • Develop clear, quantifiable metrics and KPIs to measure program's effectiveness
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to executive management
  • Define and drive technical data programs to execute on the data governance strategy
  • Work cross-functionally to embed ethical and pro-compliance culture into core business processes

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Data Governance and Regulatory Programs

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in program management
  • Experience leading two cycles of different regulatory programs tied to data handling in a product setting
  • Experience in leading processes multiple stakeholder groups, in a product setting with enterprise and consumer customer groups
  • Experience in implementing external controls frameworks
  • Experience with ETL scripts, Google-specific resources and tooling like dashboard, workflows, GoogleSQL
  • Experience with projects involving multiple Directors/Vice President-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning
