Description For Technical Program Manager, Endpoint Security

Google's Enterprise Security team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead their Endpoint Security initiatives. This role is crucial in safeguarding Alphabet's infrastructure, endpoints, and user data through building and implementing scalable security platforms. As part of the Core team, you'll be responsible for the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, working on essential building blocks that drive innovation across the company.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong program management skills to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Endpoint Security

  • Develop and execute program charters, plans, and timelines
  • Implement project management tools and methodologies for effective execution, setting priorities, tracking progress, and managing dependencies
  • Set up regular execution rhythms such as weekly status meetings and monthly progress reviews
  • Create a communication strategy, establish necessary communication channels, and oversee communication to bring visibility to teams, executives, and stakeholders
  • Drive the execution of the cross-functional program and key decisions to keep the program on track

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Endpoint Security

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering) or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program/project management
  • Experience working with teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with program management fundamentals (e.g., planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management)
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
