Description For Technical Program Manager, Enterprise Architecture

Google's Corp Eng division is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Enterprise Architecture to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. This role is crucial in building world-leading business solutions that scale Google's internal operations. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll leverage your technical expertise to manage projects from inception to completion, working closely with stakeholders across the organization.

The position requires a strong background in program management with at least 8 years of experience, particularly in managing cross-functional projects. You'll be responsible for promoting sustainable engineering practices, implementing engineering standards, and analyzing engineering practice data to benchmark against industry standards.

At Corp Eng, Google's IT organization, you'll be part of a team that provides end-to-end solutions for organizations across Google. The role involves working with various stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners. You'll need to be equally comfortable explaining complex analyses to executives and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to support the design and implementation of engineering excellence assessment. You'll play a key role in integrating engineering excellence best practices into workstreams and influencing the creation of policies around engineering standards.
