Description For Technical Program Manager, Fleet Management Hardware Integration

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in Fleet Management Hardware Integration. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee data center operations and infrastructure solutions. You'll work at the intersection of hardware, operations, and program management, managing Global Server Operations across various data center types.

As the Technical Program Manager, you'll be the key point of contact for all aspects of Global Server Operations, working closely with Fleet Management partners and ensuring smooth operations across different data center implementations. Your responsibilities will span from strategic planning to hands-on operational improvements, requiring both technical depth and strong leadership capabilities.

The role offers an opportunity to impact Google's global infrastructure, working with cutting-edge technology and diverse stakeholders. You'll be part of Google Cloud, which helps organizations across 200+ countries transform digitally and solve critical business challenges. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager, Fleet Management Hardware Integration

  • Act as a single-threaded Point of Contact (POC) for all aspects of the larger Global Server Operations for NPIs
  • Be responsible for driving internal awareness, engaging Fleet Management functional partners, and representing Fleet Management/Operations sign-off for TI-PLC phase gate approvals
  • Work with customer technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and deliver infrastructure solutions
  • Work closely with partner teams, operations managers, and data center technicians to execute and improve processes
  • Become a trusted expert in data center infrastructure solutions and provide operational and technical advice

Requirements For Technical Program Manager, Fleet Management Hardware Integration

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience working with operations management
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Experience working within a complex organizational setting (preferred)
  • Experience with YAWN or third-party data center turn ups and maintenance (preferred)
  • Experience in data center operations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to present materials to partners on technical and non-technical matters (preferred)
